Is Practice Better Payments available to all Practice Better customers?

Any Practice Better customer located in a country where Stripe is supported can sign up for a Practice Better Payments account. See here for a list of countries where Stripe is supported.

Is Practice Better Payments secure and trustworthy?

Yes! Practice Better Payments uses infrastructure provided by Stripe. Stripe is certified as fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Level 1, the payment industry’s highest level of protection. Practice Better Payments uses multiple layers of security to protect sensitive payment information. The payments tool is built using Stripe’s API integration to manage the secure collection and transmission of payment data. Your buyer’s payment credentials are encrypted and tokenized by Stripe to help ensure that unauthorized parties do not gain access to sensitive payment information.



What is the benefit of using Practice Better Payment processing vs Stripe or Square?

Practice Better Payments is a powerful, all-in-one payments processing solution that offers end-to-end encryption, PCl compliance and better visibility into your revenue and reporting. Unlike a standard integration with Stripe or Square, Practice Better Payments conveniently brings everything you need to accept, manage and track payments, right from your Practice Better portal saving you the hassle of switching tabs to compare dashboards. Does Practice Better support other payment integrations?

You can integrate your Practice Better account with a Square account. Keep in mind that Practice Better Payments offers a more integrated payments experience and, any future updates and improvements made to the payments experience will only be found in Practice Better Payments.



Does Practice Better integrate with insurance billing software?



If I don’t use Claim.MD, can I still use insurance billing features?

Yes. Even without a Claim.MD account, you can set up an insurance billing profile, create and export claims (CMS-1500 forms), and create and send Superbills to clients. But all claims will need to be submitted externally, and you won't be able to track client ERAs in Practice Better. Please visit the help center for more information about how Insurance Billing works.
