5 Strategies to Sign 25 Clients in the Next 25 Days with Kelsey Reidl

5 Strategies to Sign 25 Clients in the Next 25 Days with Kelsey Reidl

Marketing doesn’t have to be a tangle of jargon and guesswork — it’s not rocket science, and it shouldn’t feel like it. Whether you're just starting out or looking to fill your calendar, marketing expert Kelsey Reidl provides strategies that are simple, effective, and even (dare we say it?) fun. With over a decade of experience, Kelsey brings actionable insights designed to help you connect with clients and grow your business in ways that feel good.

Ready to get started? Let’s get to work.

1. The world’s easiest email

Emails don’t have to be a multi-paragraph saga. Kelsey’s advice? Keep it simple and focused. "The world’s easiest email is short, clear, and easy for your clients to respond to,” she explains. “It’s not about fancy logos or colorful banners. It’s about a genuine offer.”

Try this:

“Hey [Name], I have three spots left this month for [service]. Would you like to book one?”

This approach works because it gets straight to the point.

“When someone opens your email in the Starbucks line, they’re not pondering a novel — they’re thinking yes, no, or maybe later. Your job is to make it easy for them to choose.”

2. Get as close to your clients as possible

Marketing magic starts with understanding your clients deeply. Kelsey calls these “You Obviously Understand” moments — when your clients feel seen and supported. “The closer you are to your clients, the better you can serve them,” she says.

How? Book calls with past clients, prospective ones, or even people who’ve worked with your competitors. Use this time to ask questions like:

  • What made you choose [a service like yours]?
  • What challenges were you trying to solve?
  • How did it make you feel to finally address those challenges?
“You’re not just collecting data,” Kelsey emphasizes. “You’re building relationships and discovering the exact words your clients use to describe their problems. Those words? They’re your marketing gold.”

Bonus tip: Upload your call transcripts into an AI tool like ChatGPT to distill common themes. And if you aren’t using Practice Better’s AI tools yet, get on it.

3. Create a micro experience

“A small taste of your services can have a huge impact,” Kelsey says. These “micro experiences” give potential clients a chance to connect with you and experience your expertise. Whether it’s a free webinar, an in-person workshop, or a virtual Q&A, the goal is to foster trust and curiosity.

“Think of it like a Costco sample,” she jokes. “Nobody walks in planning to buy a 70-serving tub of protein powder, but they taste it and suddenly, they can’t leave without it.”

Suggestions for micro experiences:

  • Host a short, virtual workshop to address a specific pain point your clients face.
  • Partner with local businesses for a joint event.
  • Offer a pop-up consultation at a community center.
“AI-generated content might be efficient,” she notes, “but genuine, human experiences create emotion — and emotion drives decisions.”

4. Dig through your DMs

You might be sitting on untapped opportunities without even realizing it. Kelsey encourages a treasure hunt through your direct messages: “Your DMs are full of people who’ve shown interest in your work. Don’t let those conversations collect dust.”

Here’s how:

  • Scroll through past messages from followers or inquiries.
  • Reignite conversations with a warm, personalized follow-up.
  • Ask simple questions like, “Would you like to book a session?”
“Remember, marketing isn’t about hard selling—it’s about genuine connection,” Kelsey says. “Your dream clients are already watching. Don’t be afraid to invite them in.”

5. Launch a 30-day accelerator group

If you’re ready to go all-in, this is the strategy for you. “A short-term program is the perfect way to generate quick results while building momentum,” Kelsey explains.

Here’s the plan:

  • Create a simple offer targeting a specific need (e.g., stress management, meal planning, or fitness).
  • Send personalized invitations to 25-30 people from your email list, DMs, or micro events.
  • Aim for 5-10 signups to create a small, engaged group.
“This isn’t about launching a polished product with all the bells and whistles,” Kelsey says. “It’s about getting back to basics, testing ideas, and offering value. If you’ve done the groundwork — calls, DMs, emails — you already have everything you need to fill this group.”

The big picture

Kelsey’s five strategies are more than marketing tips — they’re a reminder that connection is at the heart of every successful business. By focusing on authentic outreach, understanding your audience, and keeping things simple, you can build trust and sign clients faster than you ever thought possible.

Or, as Kelsey puts it: “Marketing isn’t about doing it all. It’s about doing what works and having fun while you’re at it.”
