Setup requires a new DrFirst account created through Practice Better; existing DrFirst accounts aren't compatible.
Prescribe controlled substances securely — EPCS enrollment lets you send controlled substance prescriptions using your login, a passphrase, and a signature password from Practice Better support.

Start ePrescribe from your Practice Better's integration settings, choose ePrescribe alone or with PDMP, then add each provider's details; Practice Better's support team reaches out with next steps.
Complete identity verification through DrFirst's ID.me process before you can start prescribing; providers enrolled in EPCS complete extra verification steps.
Once approved, open DrFirst from a client's Medical History or Client Hub; prescriptions and updates sync back to Practice Better automatically when you close the DrFirst window.
