Running a successful holistic health practice requires more than just passion — it demands efficient systems that allow practitioners to focus on client care while growing their business. For Natalie DiTullio, a certified health coach specializing in functional medicine and nutrition, juggling administrative tasks alongside coaching became overwhelming.
Determined to streamline her workflow, Natalie turned to Practice Better and That Clean Life, two platforms that transformed the way she operates her business. Now, she spends less time on paperwork and more time doing what she loves — helping families achieve long-term wellness through personalized nutrition and lifestyle changes.
Natalie’s journey into health and wellness began when she became a mother in 2009.
"When I had my first baby, I learned about all of the toxins that we are exposed to daily, both in our food supply and in the environment. When it became my responsibility to raise a child, this was my call to action. I became passionate about learning best practices in health and nutrition in order to keep my family healthy."
This personal experience led her down the path of functional medicine and holistic health, where she now helps families uncover the root causes of chronic symptoms and reclaim their health through personalized nutrition, lifestyle shifts, and mindset changes.
For Natalie, holistic health is about balance — not perfection.
"Personally, holistic health means feeling truly well — physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is about balance and making choices that support long-term well-being. It’s not about perfection but about being intentional. Holistic health is a journey, not a destination."
As a practitioner, she views holistic health as addressing the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — rather than just managing symptoms.
"I help people recognize the interconnectedness of optimal health, nutrition, lifestyle, and emotional well-being. It’s about using food as medicine, optimizing gut health, reducing inflammation, and supporting the body’s natural healing processes."
Before using Practice Better and That Clean Life, Natalie found herself overwhelmed with administrative tasks that took time away from what she loved most — coaching and educating clients.
"Keeping track of client progress, session notes, and protocols was overwhelming. I was manually managing documents and scheduling, which took time away from business development. I was also creating courses and programs from scratch, which took a ton of time!"
Meal planning was another challenge. Researching recipes, ensuring they were nutritionally balanced, and formatting them into client-friendly plans was incredibly time-consuming.
"That Clean Life has taken the step of creating personalized meal plans off of my plate. Researching recipes, ensuring nutritional balance, and formatting them in a way that was both professional and client-friendly was a major challenge."
Natalie decided to integrate these platforms after seeing how much they could simplify her workflows:
"I started using Practice Better and That Clean Life when I saw how much easier it would be to have an EMR that streamlines everything and meal plans that can go hand in hand to fit clients' needs."
By automating scheduling, session notes, and client communications, Practice Better made managing her business more efficient. She no longer had to manually track client interactions, and the pre-made programs with automated email follow-ups became a major time-saver.
Meanwhile, That Clean Life transformed the way she delivered meal plans, allowing her to create professional, evidence-based nutrition plans for her clients with ease.

With these tools, Natalie was able to shift her focus back to high-quality client care while still growing her business.
Natalie encourages other practitioners to invest in tools that make their work more efficient.
"Practice Better is a wonderful platform to streamline your goals if you are looking to automate scheduling, client communication, and track progress. That Clean Life can simplify meal planning and provide visually appealing, client-friendly resources."
She also stresses the importance of valuing your expertise:
"Be sure to charge appropriately for your expertise. Don’t sell yourself short."
Looking ahead, Natalie sees root-cause healing and personalized wellness continuing to gain momentum as more people turn to functional and holistic health approaches.
"There is a growing demand for root-cause healing, personalized wellness, and integrative approaches that bridge the gap between conventional and functional medicine."
She is also excited about the role of technology in personalized health tracking and the shift from reactive to proactive care.
"Wearable technology like the Oura ring, Whoop Band, and continuous glucose monitors will help individuals fine-tune their health based on real-time data. Food as medicine is gaining more followers as folks recognize that nutrition plays a foundational role in preventing and reversing disease."
For her own practice, she is focused on expanding her impact through continued education and new programs.
"I’m currently working toward my Master’s in Functional Medicine and Nutrition, which will allow me to offer even more in-depth, science-backed support for my clients. I hope to offer more programs, group coaching, and online courses to help families and individuals implement sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes."
Natalie’s journey proves that practitioners don’t have to choose between business growth and exceptional client care — they can have both.
By integrating Practice Better and That Clean Life, she has built a thriving, sustainable practice that allows her to focus on her passion — helping families achieve lasting health.
