The New Way of Building a Practice vs. The Way It's Always Been Done

The New Way of Building a Practice vs. The Way It's Always Been Done

As a health practitioner, you’ve likely wondered how you can make the most impact with your clients while at the same time scaling and growing your practice. There are many different business models out there in the health space, but which ones are most effective? To help answer that question, we brought in Meghan Walker, Entrepologist and CEO of Entrepology Labs, to discuss The New Way of Building a Practice vs. The Way It's Always Been Done.

In this session, Meghan shares why moving beyond traditional one-on-one care will not only allow you to help more people by meeting them where they’re at but will also allow you to diversify your income and scale your business. She dives into the different phases of the client journey, and the impact you can have by creating offerings that cater to each stage, as well as creating your own transformational process.

What We Covered

  • Why you need to look further than 1:1 care to make the biggest impact for your clients and yourself
  • The different phases of the (not always linear) client journey and how various types of service offerings can meet them where they’re at
  • How creating multiple offerings to diversify your income will also give you the capacity to work with clients longer term and in a more fulsome and accessible way
  • How to deliver transformational care and what to include in a transformational process

Implement Meghan’s Strategies in Practice Better

Meghan discussed how creating offers for each phase of the client journey will allow you to help more people, as well as diversify your income. Practice Better allows you to facilitate this as you can create services, packages, and programs for your clients, as well as share content in creative ways.

Here are a few examples that follow Meghan’s client journey phases:

  • Aspirational Phase - Lead Magnet/Freebie:
In Practice Better, you can distribute your lead magnets or freebies in a few ways. The first is by setting up an email-only program. This will allow you to deliver dripped content without giving your prospects access to the client portal. If you want your freebie offer to include a group chat feed for community support and engagement (such as a free 5-day challenge), set this up as a fixed-date program with a feed-style group chat.
  • Empowered Phase - Educational Course:
Practice Better allows you to create educational courses using our evergreen program feature. Evergreen programs are available at any time, as a client can purchase it and run through it on their own.
  • Strategic Phase - One-On-One Care:
You can deliver your transformational process via one-on-one care in Practice Better by bundling together multiple offerings in a package. For example, your transformational process may include both one-on-one sessions as well as an educational course or program. Bundle these together in a package to create a streamlined experience for both you and the client.
  • Growth Phase - Group Program or Membership:
Practice Better allows you to run both group programs and memberships right in the platform. Group programs can be facilitated via the fixed-date program feature, and memberships using an evergreen program plus a recurring payment model.
