From corporate leadership to holistic wellness

When Tina Hinchman turned 50, she made a bold life pivot: leaving a nearly 30-year career in corporate leadership to pursue a passion in holistic wellness. Now a licensed nutritionist and founder of Living Forward Wellness, Tina specializes in helping women aged 45–55 navigate hormonal changes, gut health issues, and longevity goals with grace and confidence.

"My focus is helping women live vibrantly as they age," she explains. "I want to empower them with practical, customized tools they can actually use."

A new practice with purpose

Since earning her license in 2022, Tina has grown her practice through local referrals and word of mouth. She sees between 9 and 11 patients one day a week through a partnership with a local doctor’s office, while maintaining a private practice exclusively serving 1:1 clients. Her personalized approach and dedication to client outcomes led to steady organic growth.

"I haven't done any paid advertising," she notes. "It’s all been through connections and results."

Building a strong foundation with Practice Better

As her client roster fills up, Tina is looking to scale efficiently. In 2025, she plans to launch group programs and sell downloadable protocols and meal plans as passive income streams. She also envisions expanding her team.

Advice to new practitioners: Build before you're busy

Tina's advice to fellow wellness practitioners is rooted in hindsight. "Use the slow times to build systems," she urges. "Set up your forms, create templates, and get familiar with your tools while you have the time."

  • Offering group programs to extend her reach without increasing her hours
  • Possibly bringing 1–2 other practitioners onto her team
"I want to help more women thrive in midlife, without burning out in the process," she shares. "And these tools are helping me do that."

Growth at her own pace

Tina’s story is one of intention and transformation. From an executive in a global firm to a nutritionist shaping midlife wellness, she’s built her practice thoughtfully, growing with the help of tools that meet her where she’s at and scale as she evolves.
