Outlook + Practice Better

Send client meeting invites and get invoice follow-up reminders on your Outlook calendar automatically.

What is Outlook?

Outlook is Microsoft's email and calendar app. When you link the Outlook Connector, Practice Better sends a meeting invite when an appointment is scheduled and creates a calendar reminder for follow-up when an invoice is sent. Outlook is available with the Connector Hub add-on on Plus and Team plans, and it is linked separately from the Excel and OneDrive Connectors. See every Outlook workflow.

What you can do with Outlook

Send invites without re-entering details — Scheduling an appointment sends the meeting invite for you.

Follow up on invoices — Sending an invoice creates a calendar reminder so follow-up does not slip.

Stay on one calendar — Invoice follow-up reminders appear on the Outlook calendar you already use.

How the Outlook connector works

Connect your Microsoft organization

The practice owner connects one Microsoft organization through a one-time authorization.

Choose how events appear

Each practitioner then chooses how their own sessions and invoices appear in Outlook.

Link each Microsoft app separately

Connecting Outlook does not connect Excel or OneDrive. Each Microsoft app needs its own authorization.

Connect your Outlook calendar in minutes.

Turn on Connector Hub, link your Microsoft organization, and Practice Better sends invites and reminders to Outlook automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does Practice Better integrate with Outlook?

Yes. Practice Better connects with Outlook through the Outlook connector in Connector Hub. A meeting invite is sent when an appointment is scheduled, and a follow-up reminder is added to your calendar when an invoice is sent.

Which Practice Better plans include the Outlook Connector?

The Outlook Connector is part of Connector Hub, a paid add-on for Plus and Team plans at $49/month. You also need an active Microsoft organization. Starter and Professional plans can upgrade to get access. Learn more about pricing.

What does the Outlook Connector do?

When an appointment is scheduled, a meeting invite is sent. When an invoice is sent, a calendar reminder for follow-up is created. See all Outlook workflows.

Does connecting Outlook also connect Excel and OneDrive?

No. Each Microsoft app is linked separately and needs its own authorization.

Can my team members use the Outlook Connector?

Yes, on a Team plan. The practice owner turns on the Manage Connectors permission for each role and connects Outlook first, then team members configure their own settings. Connectors are not available to admin team members.

How do I disconnect Outlook?

Any practitioner can delete their own Outlook configuration, and the practice owner can unlink Outlook for the whole practice from Connector Hub settings. Unlinking affects every team member who has Outlook set up.
