Google Sheets + Practice Better

Log new clients, bookings, packages, and program enrollments in your Google Sheet automatically.

What is Google Sheets?

Google Sheets is a cloud spreadsheet for tracking and sharing data. When you link the Google Sheets Connector, Practice Better adds a row to your spreadsheet whenever a new client is added, a booking is confirmed, a package is purchased, or a client enrolls in a program. Google Sheets is available with the Connector Hub add-on on Plus and Team plans, and it is linked separately from the Gmail and Google Docs Connectors. See every Google Sheets workflow.

What you can do with Google Sheets

Keep a running client roster — Every new client is added as a row in your spreadsheet.

Track bookings in one place — Each confirmed booking adds a row, giving you a simple log of appointments.

Log package purchases — Each confirmed package adds a row you can sort and total in Sheets.

Follow program enrollments — Each enrollment adds a row so you can see who joined which program.

How the Google Sheets connector works

Connect your Google account

The practice owner connects one Google account through a one-time authorization.

Choose your spreadsheet

Each practitioner then chooses their own spreadsheet and which data to sync. Solo practitioners complete both steps themselves.

Map your fields

Field mappings tell the Connector which Practice Better information to write into each row.

Connect Google Sheets in minutes.

Turn on Connector Hub, link your Google account, and Practice Better logs client events to your spreadsheet automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does Practice Better integrate with Google Sheets?

Yes. Practice Better connects with Google Sheets through the Google Sheets Connector in Connector Hub. New clients, bookings, packages, and enrollments are logged as rows in a spreadsheet you choose.

Which Practice Better plans include the Google Sheets Connector?

The Google Sheets Connector is part of Connector Hub, a paid add-on for Plus and Team plans at $49/month. You also need an active Google account. Starter and Professional plans can upgrade to get access. Learn more about pricing.

Which events add a row to my spreadsheet?

A row is added when a new client is added, a booking is confirmed, a package is confirmed, or a client enrolls in a program. Connector Hub workflows run in the background whenever the event happens. See all Google Sheets workflows.

Do I need to create my spreadsheet first?

We recommend creating your spreadsheet before you set up the Connector. If you need to make it first, you can exit setup and come back to finish your configuration at any time.

Can each practitioner use their own spreadsheet?

Yes. Your practice connects one Google account, and each practitioner then chooses their own spreadsheet and which data to sync.

Can my team members use the Google Sheets Connector?

Yes, on a Team plan. The practice owner turns on the Manage Connectors permission for each role and connects Google Sheets first, then team members configure their own settings. Connectors are not available to admin team members.

How do I disconnect Google Sheets?

Any practitioner can delete their own Google Sheets configuration, and the practice owner can unlink Google Sheets for the whole practice from Connector Hub settings. Unlinking affects every team member who has Google Sheets set up.
