Salesforce + Practice Better

Create Salesforce contacts for new clients and add them to campaigns when they enroll in your programs.

What is Salesforce?

Salesforce is a CRM platform for managing contacts and campaigns. When you link the Salesforce Connector, Practice Better creates a Salesforce contact for each new client, tags it by program, and adds the contact to a Salesforce campaign when the client enrolls in a program. Salesforce is available with the Connector Hub add-on on Plus and Team plans. See every Salesforce workflow.

What you can do with Salesforce

Create contacts automatically — New clients appear in Salesforce without manual entry.

Tag contacts by program — See which program each client belongs to directly in Salesforce.

Add enrolled clients to campaigns — Program enrollments feed the campaign you mapped to that program.

How the Salesforce connector works

Connect your Salesforce organization

The practice owner connects one Salesforce organization through a one-time authorization. Client sync is practice-wide.

Map programs to campaigns

Each practitioner then maps their own programs to Salesforce campaigns. Solo practitioners complete both steps themselves.

Contacts tagged by program

A new client creates a contact tagged by program, and a program enrollment adds that contact to a campaign.

Turn on Connector Hub, link your Salesforce organization, and Practice Better keeps contacts and campaigns in sync automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Does Practice Better integrate with Salesforce?

Yes. Practice Better connects with Salesforce through the Salesforce Connector in Connector Hub. New clients become contacts and program enrollments add them to campaigns.

Which Practice Better plans include the Salesforce Connector?

The Salesforce Connector is part of Connector Hub, a paid add-on for Plus and Team plans at $49/month. You also need an active Salesforce account. Starter and Professional plans can upgrade to get access. Learn more about pricing.

What triggers a Salesforce update?

A new client creates a contact tagged by program, and a program enrollment adds the contact to a Salesforce campaign. Connector Hub workflows run in the background whenever the event happens. See all Salesforce workflows.

Can each practitioner map their own programs to campaigns?

Yes. Client sync is practice-wide, and each practitioner then maps their own programs to campaigns.

Can my team members use the Salesforce Connector?

Yes, on a Team plan. The practice owner turns on the Manage Connectors permission for each role and connects Salesforce first, then team members configure their own settings. Connectors are not available to admin team members.

How do I disconnect Salesforce?

Any practitioner can delete their own Salesforce configuration, and the practice owner can unlink Salesforce for the whole practice from Connector Hub settings. Unlinking affects every team member who has Salesforce set up.
